GMC Envoy Review
The GMC Envoy is a solid midsized SUV, but it still falls short of many of its competitors. This SUV is spacious, with a comfortable ride and an agile inline-six engine. Handling is a bit boorish and can be tricky at the limit. Wind noise is blatant. The XL model has a third seat row. The Envoy provides an absorbent low-speed ride. However, overall the handling is sloppy. The downside includes uncomfortable seats, ill-fitting trim, and too much wind noise. Off-road capability is not it’s strong side. The Envoy is rather thirsty at a pump. The seat-mounted front safety belts are annoying and hard to reach. The crash-test results are unimpressive.
GMC Envoy Strengths
Bargain price, comfy ride, cool looks, extensive list of available options, strong engins, user-friendly interior, seating capacity.
GMC Envoy Weaknesses
Numb steering, front safety belts, blowzy handling, low-quality interior pieces, sloppy cornering, fuel economy, braking distances.
