Mazda 3 Review
The Mazda 3 is an all-new 5-door hatchback and compact sedan that successfully replaced the Mazda Protege in 2004. Built on a Volvo S40 platform and equipped with a guick 2.0-liter or refined and punchy 2.3-liter, the Mazda 3 provides relatively comfortable and smooth ride while the handling is surprisingly firm and responsive – really sporty feeling. Pretty aesy on gas even for a compact car. Interior room and quality are satisfying and the trunk is a bit tiny. Curtain air bags are available as an option. And on top of that the Mazda 3 is fun to drive.
Mazda 3 Strengths
Driving position, stylish quality interior, the level of assembly quality, strong refine engines, slick transmission, fuel economy.
Mazda 3 Weaknesses
Noisy inside, road noise, small trunk, rear seat footroom, some ergonomic lapses.

I thought this said car /crasher/ for a second there, and wondered if you were affiliated with Chrysler Milton, my favorite demo derby sponsors. Anyway, I definitely agree with your assessment of the Mazda 3′s weaknesses, and that the transmission is great, but otherwise I found it disappointing.
