The Nissan Murano has an eye-catching styling. Underneath the bodywork there is only one engine to offer, yet a thirsty one. The interior is stark and functional, while the seats are roomy but lack support. Engine power is impressive. There's plenty of equipment, like six airbags, cruise control and a quality Bose sound system. However, the Murano lacks the user-friendly touch of other European-focused Nissans.
The five-passenger Murano comes in three trim levels: base S, luxury-oriented SL and sporty SE.
It's not quite a limo like but four people can travel in exceptional comfort.
The Murano is one of the best car-based SUVs.
However, a stiff ride, limited rearward visibility, and its use of premium fuel are real drawbacks.
| | | Nissan Murano Strengths Attractive styling, roomy and comfortable rear seat, fun-to-drive, good fuel economy, sharp handling, strong engine, comfortable and practical interior, easy access.
| |
| | Nissan Murano Weaknesses Stiff ride, squeaks and jiggles, seats only 5, limited rear visibility, busy dashboard, prefers premium fuel. |
