The Nissan Sentra is a decent small sedan with an acceptable, adequate powertrain (the car doesn't feel agile though), appropriate handling, and a capably-arranged interior. However ride comfort is nondescript, braking distances are alarming, and rear-seat room is extremely cramped. The Sentra has received a Poor in side crash test. Reliability has been below average.
Four models are available: 1.8, 1.8 S, SE-R and SE-R Spec V.
